Our last memories of Malawi.

Our last night on Lake Malawi was at the Pottery lodge, where we had stayed on our way up. It was a perfect evening for another wonderful warm sunset, echoing the warm hearted Malawian people. Soon we would be travelling back through southern Africa to South Africa.

I didn’t have a fancy camera so the sunset perhaps looks a bit amateurish but my memories and attachment to these images comes rushing back whenever I view them.

Plans for our return journey.
We had wanted to go back via Mozambique but at the last moment we had heard that it was no longer safe to travel that way. You can read about it in a older post of mine: Fellow Travellers

So we planned to a new route through the north of Zimbabwe, over Lake Kariba, into Zambia to Botswana. This will be the next leg of our journey but before I tell you about this route I have something a little different for my next travel post, till next time, take care.
