  1. It’s amazing that your daughter wants to find out more about a skill that has been a part of our history for so long! None of my grandmothers were really good at knitting or crocheting – one was a queen in front of the stove and the other one could plant and grow anything! My mom taught herself to knit and crochet (from patterns published in local magazines) and she enjoys it as a hobby.
    Good luck to Ellie – I’m sure she will be fascinated with some of the info she might receive!
