Our African trip: Eating simply
Our trip was in 2013 but these days what with global warming, carbon emissions and the like we would want to consider the amount of animal protein we eat and what we would replace it with. What we considered eating simply then would not be what we consider it to be now. This would make a very interesting discussion if anyone would like to comment.
Together we bridge the gap.
How do we bridge the gap Created by anxiety or anger The emotions that ripple-effect Pushing back I can’t reach or won’t reach Till I resolve to make a way Coming forwards Owning my baggage Acknowledging the impact on you Only as we want to work together no ifs' or buttes Only as we let … Continue reading Together we bridge the gap.
African trip, Facing my foibles, day 2

The laptop had stolen hours from Derek’s packing time as it had crashed the day before. I had saved all my research of places we … Continue reading An African Trip, Day 1: 30th May 2013

Do you know how I painted my garden table?
The table before and after. Sitting outside at my table. Before I tell you about my creative process I want to tell you about our habit of sitting outside. I like sitting outside; either alone or with Derek, my husband, or with family or friends. We experience mild weather here most of the year … Continue reading Do you know how I painted my garden table?
