Walking
My morning walk
Constitutional
My emotions
And body
Engaging in
And absorbing
The gifts of earth and sky
Butterflies emerging
Delicately flitting
On streams of air
Feathers scattered
Randomly dropping
From no where
In flight.
Fish break
The water’s surface
Water plopping
Splashing
In response
I am grateful
A few years ago I used share my poetry on Saturdays. I want to get back into that habit.
Have a great weekend. We’re moving our office today; http://www.purpleswift.com
Take care
