My grateful heart receives abundant creativity, It springs from the Well of Living waters.
For the abundance to be available we must open our heart to kindnesses awaiting to be bestowed.
Of creativity I can only say it is a wellspring of its own refreshing participants both giver and receiver.
It's springs be flooding, I wish upon you the flow from the depths of your heart.
From the Well you may drink but be sure to pass it on or stagnant it will become.
Of Living waters we know so little yet with humble hearts we receive and in so doing we are restored.

“Joy does not simply happen to us. We have to choose joy and keep choosing it every day.”
Henri Nouwen
Creativity is like joy, it’s infectious. For inspiration to come we need to choose our “art” every day, welcoming that flow into us and giving it back to ensure it keeps on flowing. “Art” requires nurturing. Henri says that joy is more than a feeling, it is a choice. I believe that it is not just joy that we need to choose every day but for those of us who are creative, be it art, writing, music, dance etc. we need to exercise choice as well. Nurture the flow of creativity.
Take care, life is a gift – be inspired and let it flow.
Beautiful poem! Take care, Morag! π

Pingback: The art process: Colour Burst | Morag Noffke
Beautifully worded and adorned with such vivid colors and works of art. I loved that brilliant pink park bench in the middle of all of those pink flowers! Is that on your property? I can just see you deciding that the bench needed some more color and having your way with a paintbrush and paint to make it beautiful.

Thank you π the bench is beautiful but it isn’t mine unfortunately it is in a little town just outside New Castle upon Tyne but I forget the name. You have just given me a wonderful idea for the old bench I inherited from my mother πππ

Wonderful!! It is such a vibrant, cheerful color and now you will have to plant pink flowers around it too next spring. π
