Antidote to Human Madness

I wish or pray for World Peace. 
My heart aches and breaks 
Under the weight 
Of seeing humans fighting. 
My wish or prayers are to end greed, 
The endless gobbling up 
By the empty desperate souls 
Which in turn causes the starvation of our Brothers. 
And lastly I wish and pray for the sane unselfish stewardship
Of the Earth, to treat Earth with respect 
And treasure her gifts, sharing these gifts out unselfishly 
To create a harmonious community.
Wishes may not be granted 
But I will never stop hoping,
Never stop praying.
There has to be hope
But without love all is lost.

Why is my soul so weary?
Because I poured my heart and soul out
I am all poured out
In the hope of an answer,
An antidote to human madness.

  7. I respect your sentiments. In fact majority of sane people think alike, but the real perpetrators are not listening. In such a grim situation, let’s hope and pray that better sense prevails.
