Missing Those Moments

I wish I could speak to you right now
I wish that you were right here
I have got so much I want to say.
It would be a good conversation.
So much to catch up on.
It’s a natural report,
Listening and talking.
And it's a voice internalized,
Listen-Encourage, listen-Teach,
Listen-Challenge, listen-Just-laugh.
So stay well, until I see you again.

I am sure we all have those moments when someone who was or is dear to us is not around to share something pertinent and it makes the missing even more poignant. I hope you have a good week.

  3. Dear Friend,   I have had a few hard days just now and although one of the steps of grief is anger I have had little of it til now.”(three years in). I am furious,, why did you leave me ?” When the kids make me mad, who can I tell that will sympathize?. Mass helped this morning and hearing from you,, know that hearing from you helped.     • Oh wow, dear Shar, yes grief has a life of its own, it’s never predictable as what will come next. My heart aches for you because no one can fill the place… I am so touched that this poem helped. I haven’t written a poem for so long, thinking ‘What’s the point of writing ‘ but I am so, so happy that it has helped. Big big hugs 🤗🤗 , with love Morag

      • I think God was telling you to keep going and me that He knows and I am not alone….all through writing …how glad I am to know you.I remember you prayed for me and didn’t know why but He knew and at this moment brought that wonderful occurrence back to mind.Thank you…with love..Sharon
