Again I reflect upon the change of seasons and my internal season. I do detect incremental changes. It’s time to celebrate with an expression unedited from my soul in art and a poem.
The leaves of trees bud
Birds dance and twitter with joy
My heart is laughing
My art is moving
Art-thaw of winter cracks wide
A life wakes open
Soul in awareness
Vulnerability dawns
Hug the 'now' of life
See this spring is yours
It never will be again
Hold this 'now' gently
Determined I turn
To focus my gratefulness
On our Creator
For we are nothing
And most helpless on our own
We can't turn the world.
Trees clap their hands and
Unleash birds singing their songs
As our 'now' springs wide.

My Life is good and busy, with a touch of madness. Our daughter’s puppy (Bambi) is growing: 4 months old. I’m waiting for surgery, anytime soon. Nothing I can’t handle. 45 minute procedure and I am home the same day. I will be able to say goodbye to a grumpy hernia.
Take care, whatever the season you’re in.
~ Morag Noffke
I loved the line: “I hug the now of life.” It expresses your joy for living so well and beautifully.

Aww… Thank you. I enjoyed the process. It was a fun serendipitous method. It matched my feeling of Spring bursting forth with birds and leaves 🌿🦜🌿🦜

I have the same feelings. The trees have broken out in blooms of white, pink and purplish pink! It’s so veautiful!

I love the line about the ‘art-thaw of winter cracks wide’…it’s a perfect way to express that moment when inspiration returns.
And the drawing is so lovely, Morag. I love the colors, the soft lines, the way each aspect seems to tie together into one.
I’m glad to know you’re feeling rejuvenated. Good luck on your surgery and please give the little pup a belly rub for me. 🙂
