Under the dry grey sky
Grassy hills wait, patched.
Dogs running gayly
Not a care in the world
While a solitude couple walk
With heavy dark clouds
Weighing on their shoulders
And a man
In a house finds
A solution
To a year-long problem.
Manic happiness
Give way to celebrate.
Walking reveals all
As time keeps
Moving on.

It looks pretty. But there remain some asks.~~~~~

Yes indeed there remains some questions. Some things we never know about other people’s lives π

Lovely, thought provoking poem. We never know everything about some people and what they have lived through or are living with.

That’s right, thank you for articulating it so well. And sometimes it is uncomfortable but we let them live their lives. π€β€οΈπ

Sometimes a good walk is good therapy, or at least a good way to think things through.
A melancholy but lovely poem, Morag. π

Thank you, Richard, yes we often get our eureka moments while walking. Thank you for acknowledging the melancholy, that’s what I was going for. Observing others’ sadness and not knowing the full story.π

Walking and noticing! Not just a way to exercise the body, but the mind too! πββοΈ
